花言葉：恋・呪い
北の高山や原野に育つユリのなかま。黒に近い、深い赤紫色の花を、うつむくように咲かせます。アイヌの人々は、この花を「アンラコロ」と呼びました。
その色から「呪い」という言い伝えを持つ一方で、「恋」という花言葉も伝わります。ひとつの花が、見る人によって、正反対のものを宿します。
嫌われるほどの暗い色も、受け取る人がいれば、ちがう名前に変わります。

クロユリは、その色から「呪い」と恐れられることもあれば、「恋」という花言葉も持っています。ひとつの花から、ふたつの色が咲く。その矛盾を、まるごと歌いたいと思いました。
黒さも翳りも、嫌われがちなものを全部のせて、それでも「気づいてほしい」と差し出す。誰かが拾って受け取ってくれたとき、翳りだと思っていたものは、ちがう名前に変わります。
あなたの翳りも、わたしが拾うから。
